Zmesh is a safe, ETL listed, low-voltage element in either a 9 or 12 inch wide bronze mesh, similar to screen door material. Because of its low profile (less than 1/16th of an inch) installing any floor surface over Zmesh is simple. Unlike with hydronic systems (water/glycol mix), no cement or under floor support is required. Zmesh is the best radiant floor warming solution for under carpet, hardwood, tile, marble, slate, linoleum, and vinyl installations available.

Zmesh can be stapled and nailed through for easy installation. In addition, surface buildup is not necessary with Zmesh. Install it directly under hardwood flooring, carpet, tile, linoleum or vinyl, and marble. It is zone controlled by a computer/transformer that mounts on a wall in a closet or in a basement. A 7-day programmable thermostat controls either room or floor temperature.

ZMesh is a unique product because of its extremely low profile and ability to heat evenly. No other heating product can match its characteristics. This even, slow growth heat coupled with the exclusive ability to be nailed or screwed through anywhere in the layout allows you to choose any type of wood flooring you like. This includes exotics, wide or short plank, hard or soft woods.

Because ZMesh is so thin, it will not affect your floor buildup, weight loads or flooring choices. ZMesh can be installed underneath carpet or sandwiched between your sub-floor and cement board to heat tile. No additional mortar or thinset is needed to cover the ZMesh element and, if you decide in 10 years that you no longer like he tile design you originaly chose, it is still safe under the cement board when you remove the old tile.

If you already have a beautiful floor that you don't want to go through the expense and disruption of removing but you want to have the comfort of warm floors, and you have full access to the floor from below, ZMesh can be retrofit between the joists below the area to warm from below. A reflective barrier and batting type of insulator are required after installing ZMesh to direct the heat upward.

The pictures below are looking up at the joist system under a great room above.
