Zmesh is a safe, ETL listed, low-voltage element in either a 9 or 12 inch wide bronze mesh, similar to screen door material. Because of its low profile (less than 1/16th of an inch) installing any floor surface over Zmesh is simple. Unlike with hydronic systems (water/glycol mix), no cement or under floor support is required. Zmesh is the best radiant floor warming solution for under carpet, hardwood, tile, marble, slate, linoleum, and vinyl installations available.

Zmesh can be stapled and nailed through for easy installation. In addition, surface buildup is not necessary with Zmesh. Install it directly under hardwood flooring, carpet, tile, linoleum or vinyl, and marble. It is zone controlled by a computer/transformer that mounts on a wall in a closet or in a basement. A 7-day programmable thermostat controls either room or floor temperature.

ZMesh can be installed underneath carpet or sandwiched between your sub-floor and cement board to heat tile. No additional mortar or thinset is needed to cover the ZMesh element and, if you decide in 10 years that you no longer like he tile design you originaly chose, it is still safe under the cement board when you remove the old tile.
