Zmesh is a safe, UL listed, low-voltage element in either a 9 or 12 inch wide bronze mesh, similar to screen door material. Because of its low profile (only 1/16th of an inch) installing any floor surface over Zmesh is simple. Unlike with hydronic systems (water/glycol mix), no cement or under floor support is required. Zmesh can be stapled and nailed right through for easy installation. In addition, surface buildup is not necessary with Zmesh. Install it directly under hard wood flooring, carpet, tile, linoleum/vinyl, and marble. It is zone controlled by a computer/transformer box that mounts on a wall, in a closet or in a basement. A 7-day programmable thermostat controls either room or floor temperature.
