Comfort Radiant's portable snow melting products are an efficient, convenient way to eliminate snow and ice accumulation around your home or workplace. Portable snow melting mats are designed to lay over walkways, stairs, loading docks, handicap ramps, and many other surfaces, to provide a clean and safe passageway for foot, wheelchair, or automobile access.

In addition to melting snow and ice, the mat's non-slip rubber surface acts as a traction mat, further preventing potential slip-and-fall accidents. The Heat Track mat is designed and bult with grommet holes on each side to make securing the mat both simple and effective.

** All snow melting mats and treads have an in-line GFI switch. Do not plug a mat with GFI protection into an outlet that already has GFI protection or it will cause 'niusance trips' at the breaker. We can ship mats without GFI if you already have it in place but you must mention it on order.

All cords exit the mat at the lower right or upper left. If you need the cord to exit in a different location, there will be an additional charge and time to make the change. Custom mat lengths are also available. We can design your mats and treads to run in tandem so that you have a single plug at the end of your design. Limitations as to power/current availability will apply.
 

STAIR TREADS

Comfort Radiant's Heat Trak Rubber and Aluminum Stair Treads are an effective way to eliminate snow and ice from accumulating on outdoor stairways, which are considered the most dangerous slip-and-fall hazard around your home or business. Radiant Heat Trak rubber top stair treads are connected together with a single wire and sold in groups of 2 through 8 steps. Each group of stair treads has a 6-foot power lead with a Ground Fault Equipment Protection switch (GFEP protection) in-line that plugs into a standard outlet**.

 

EFFECTIVE

Comfort Radiant's Heat Trak products are extremely durable and are designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. The electrically operated heating element is sandwiched between two protective surfaces of non-slip rubber making them as durable as tires. Heat Trak products either plug in to any standard 120v or 240v outlet using an equipment protection circuit interrupter (GFEP) or they can be hardwired into an electrical junction box. Radiant Heat Track Mats melt up to 2" of falling snow per hour and cost as little as $1.50 a day to operate depending on local costs per kilowatt hour.
