This is a new installation of an asphalt driveway with Heatizon's Tuff Cable low voltage element inserted in-between layers. CRH inserted the element into the 1st course of asphalt and then an additional 1" - 2" of finish course was laid directly over the top.

Inserting the element into a saw cut slot protects it from being damaged by the asphalt machinery later. You can see the driveway is clear while snow is falling from the start. The design included a water runoff path to the right of the carport.
